Biography
American conductor Shaan Milharcic, a native of Indiana, enjoys a diverse career as a violinist and conductor. Shaan started his conducting journey by founding his own orchestral ensemble, the Brownsburg Community Orchestra, at the age of 15. Since then, he has served as a guest conductor for the Ball State Symphony Orchestra, Ball State Campus Orchestra, Brownsburg Symphony Orchestra, Wiley Community Orchestra, Hendricks Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and associate conductor for the East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra. He has also had opportunities to conduct internationally in Canada and Germany. Shaan received his Bachelor of Arts in violin performance at Ball State University studying under Dr. Yu-Fang Chen. He currently studies orchestral conducting at McGill University under Alexis Hauser.
